The study of Ashtanga Yoga happens through a sequence that involves the flow of breath with the practice of diverse asanas in a clear and melodic rhythm. Execution of Ashtanga Yoga is much more intense than Hatha Yoga as its exercises the gaze (focus), bandhas (locks), prana (breath) and movement of a body and mind in a very single continuous motion.
Utilization of the force of body and mind to remain still in a certain asana and a firm state of mind is illuminated by Hatha Yoga. This helps us realize the companionship of two opposing elements in our body -- the hot and cold, the sun and moon, the male and female, the power and the creation. During these classes, you shall learn how to hitch the body, mind and soul into a single sole element.

What should I bring to the workout?

How do we select the music?
